Get Your Creative Juices Flowing
As a child, I promised myself I would create even as an adult. Somehow, I knew I had to make art and write as a hobby or career. It was vital to my well-being, otherwise I’d feel regretful and irritable.

Have you abandoned your inner artist? Did you once enjoy knitting colorful scarves for the entire family or playing Neil Young tunes on the guitar? It’s easy to lose yourself in life’s responsibilities, but if you’re inspired to create, you owe it to yourself to make the time.
Start by making a list of creative interests. Feel which one excites you. Perhaps you once longed to be a dancer. Enroll in a dance class or download a dance video. Try different styles: ballroom, belly dancing or hip-hop. Soon you’ll be “Dancing with the Stars.”
Making space for creativity isn’t silly or irresponsible. Consider it an investment in your spirit. Life is short. PLAY! Please let me know if you’re inspired to try a new, or old creative hobby.
"Good Karma" Art Show at b9 Architects in Seattle
Opening: Friday, Sept. 5th, 5pm - 8pm

610  2nd Ave., Seattle, WA

I’m excited to exhibit 14 works, including 10 new paintings, at b9 Architects beginning Friday, September 5th for the grand opening of its new office in downtown Seattle, coinciding with Pioneer Square's Artwalk. (The Artwalk, usually on Thursdays, is on Friday due to a conflict with the Seahawks football game.)

The show, called "Good Karma" is a colorful collection of acrylic, mixed media and digital paintings designed to lift your spirit, bring a smile to your face and radiate positive energy.

I’m offering many sizes and price points from $115 - $900. The exhibit will remain on display through November 7th. So if you can’t make the opening, feel free to stop in during b9's regular business hours to view the paintings, and meet owner and architect Brad Khouri and his talented and friendly staff.
b9 Architects, which specializes in “green” urban architecture, is expanding into a beautiful, historic building.  I’ll be available via Skype during the show to answer questions about the art, discuss commission ideas or to meet you, virtually!
