MLK Day, parade

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, CAT will operate on a holiday schedule on Monday, Jan. 20. Some of CAT's bus routes and the Dot shuttle also will be re-routed that morning during the parade.

Did you know?

Last Thursday was CAT's 33rd "birthday". Following the passage of a state enabling act by Georgia's lawmakers, Chatham County Commissioners adopted a local ordinance in 1986 that created a special service district. The district served as the triggering mechanism in which the Savannah Transit Authority ceased to exist and the Chatham Area Transit Authority officially came into being on Jan. 9, 1987.

Buy CAT passes online

CAT customers can now purchase their bus passes and CAT Mobility paratransit tickets online and have them delivered to their home.
