News and confirmed dates for 2016, including an exclusive show at Cobbles & Clay in March, are below and don't forget you can also find merchandise and CDs on the website here. The last date for posting these out for Christmas will be the 19th December and I'm happy to personalise signed copies by request, so get your orders in now!

In the news below you can also read how I currently have some photographs of myself on display in Northwich Wetherspoons which are to be sold off in support of mental health charity SANE. This is a cause very close to my heart and I would encourage any of you struggling throughout the Christmas period to contact them here:

Be safe and merry this holiday, and once again, thankyou for your continued support.

All the best,

Sell out show and live session to end 2015!

A huge thankyou to everyone who came out to my last show of the year at Blue Funk in Poynton, featuring the wonderful Andy Crowdy on bass. It was amazing to sell out the venue and we had such a fantastic time. For those who missed the duo gig, myself and Andy recorded a live session for Roots & Fusion on Stockport's Pure 107.5FM the day before which can now be downloaded for free, here. The session features 5 of the EP tracks stripped back to double bass, guitar and vocals exclusively for the radio.

Here's a video from the gig too - a stripped back bass led cover of "Stand By Me" featuring some lovely crowd participation! Enjoy :)

Lucy Zirins featured in photographic exhibition raising money for mental health charity SANE

As it comes towards Christmas I'm aware that not everyone has an enjoyable period during the holidays. That's why I'm really proud to have photographs of myself featured in an exhibition which will be sold off with ALL proceeds going towards mental health charity SANE.

Taken by Jack Thompson during my gig at Congleton’s Jazz & Blues festival in 2014, these original and unique prints signed by myself are available to purchase (unframed) through ArtWork Studios & Gallery and ALL sale proceeds will be donated to the mental health charity ‘SANE’ in aid of their essential and increasingly necessary life saving work across the UK. These prints are also currently on display in Wetherspoons in Northwich.

Here's my press statement on why I'm involved in this project...

"I'm really proud to know Jack and be the feature of his wonderful photographs which are raising money for the charity SANE. I think it's incredibly important we support mental health charities like SANE so that we can help those who need it most. Sadly I only started playing guitar after inheriting my Uncle's acoustic following his suicide when I was 12. Whilst music and particularly songwriting has allowed me to keep my Uncle Chris's memory alive in a positive way, I'm aware that currently, the suicide rate for men is still at its’ highest since 2001 according to statistics released by the Samaritans. For me that just isn't ok. We must continue to help charities like SANE so they can help others and prevent future family tragedies."

Jack, who himself lives with mental health conditions, would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for all of their help, support, and involvement in this including: Artwork Studios & Gallery; Lucy Zirins and family; SANE and their Fundraising Department; Wetherspoons Penny Black; The Northwich Guardian; and to all of his own family & friends x.
