RELEASE: Dave Min (SD37) Raises $100,000 for State Senate In Less Than One Month
Irvine, Calif. —  TODAY, Dave Min, UC Irvine professor and candidate for California's 37th State Senate District, announced that his campaign has raised $100,000 since he announced his candidacy on January 8th. The fundraising haul comes on the heels of recent endorsements from the Newport-Mesa Local American Federation of Teachers 1794, Representatives Judy Chu, Ted Lieu, Alan Lowenthal, Scott Peters and dozens of local elected officials.

“We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for this campaign," said Orrin Evans, Min Campaign spokesman. "In less than one month, Dave has built a truly impressive coalition of support, and a campaign operation that will have the resources to communicate to voters across the 37th Senate District. His policy-based approach to addressing issues like climate change, economic inequality, and access to affordable healthcare is clearly resonating with voters."

"While John Moorlach remains dependent on corporate special interests to fund his advocacy for the Trump agenda in Sacramento, Dave is running a people-powered campaign, and proudly stands with working families, immigrants, and teachers."

The fundraising announcement comes amidst an outpouring of support for Min. Since announcing his candidacy on January 8th, Min has been endorsed by: Representatives Ted Lieu, Alan Lowenthal, Judy Chu; the Newport-Mesa Local American Federation of Teachers 1794, Rep. Scott Peters; California Democratic Party Environmental Caucus Chair RL Miller; Aliso Viejo City Councilwoman Tiffany Ackley; Former Irvine City Councilwoman Mary Ann Gaido; Aliso Viejo Mayor Ross Chun; and Former Irvine Mayor Sukhee Kang.
