Absolutely delighted to have our latest album; The Hebridean Sessions up for Album of the Year at the 2016 Scots Trad Music Awards. This comes at the end off a really brilliant year for the band..our busiest one ever, with 2 hugely succesful tours of the USA and our Pirates of the Hebridean tour of Scotland as well as plenty festivals to keep us in trouble! In additon to the album nomination, our very own Ellen MacDonald is up for Gaelic Singer of the Year, go check out all the nominees in all the categories here. There's loads of great things happening in Scottish music, go check it out!
Off the stage at Peoria Erin Feis and straight into Ross' 40th Birthday limo. That was great day!
We'll have some of our Skull & Crossdrones baseball style t-shirts available from our shop, keep an eye an eye on the website.
ON THE HORIZON...
We'll be using the next couple of months putting together some new material which we'll playing at concerts on our Western Winter U.S. tour which takes in TX, NM, AZ, CA and OR (check out the website for details). Before we head over the water we've got a double bill at Celtic Connections that features Ross playing with ex-Dàimh singer Calum Alex MacMillan & Yogi playing with a great friend of ours; Angus Nicolson and his Trio. (new album now available here!). Ellen will also be appearing at Celtic Connections with an evening of songs written by women.
