So looking forward to seeing you on August 8th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas!

Wise People in Roofing - Keith Post

When you were starting out did you have a mentor, and if so, was it someone you sought out or they found you?
In my first business venture, I shared my idea of starting a company and he encouraged me saying if anyone could make it in 1987 I could. Those words confirmed in my mind I could do it. He was somewhat of a mentor teaching me business skills in areas I knew little about, banking & surety, but he became more of a liability as time went by. His business was going down and he changed from being a giver to a taker and asking for loans for which he never repaid, got us into sales tax delinquency issues by lying about what the interpreted remodel sales tax….so I learned big lessons from him on what not to do but he encouraged me early on to start my motor and stuck to the grind after his change. Trade Association Coalition Completes Second Quarter 2021 Market Index Survey for Reroofing

A coalition of industry trade associations representing contractors, consultants and manufacturers in the U.S. and Canada completed its most recent Quarterly Market Index Survey for Reroofing. The survey takes the pulse of the reroofing industry on a quarterly basis and serves as a regular barometer of the industry’s business conditions. By asking a handful of business questions and measuring responses across a number of demographics, the survey helps give an indication of the reroofing market strength and trajectory. Nearly 320 respondents consisting of roofing contractors and roof consultants completed the eight-question survey during a two-week period in July. The results indicate generally improving market conditions based on an expansion in roofing activity as well as an increase in project backlog length.

The complete results of the Quarterly Market Index Survey for Reroofing are available only to those who participated in the survey. Any contractor or consultant who wants to participate in next quarter’s brief survey can sign up for a notification at http://bit.ly/37ank7D
