Return of the Sea Otter
Join natural history author Todd McLeish as he discusses North America’s cutest mammal, the sea otter, and describes his adventures studying the animals from California to Alaska. Nearly driven extinct for their thick fur, sea otters have rebounded throughout much of their range on the Pacific Coast, but they are still threatened by sharks, killer whales, oil spills, and other factors. Wednesday, 10/20 at 1PM.

Social Security, Simply Put
In 2021, nearly nine out of ten people aged 65 and older will receive Social Security benefits. These funds represent about 33% of the annual income to these recipients. With significantly fewer employer-provided pensions available in the workforce, Social Security benefits are often relied upon as a retirement income cornerstone. Join us on Thursday, 10/28 at 6:30PM as we discuss this important topic.
