Do You Write Poetry?

The Faxon Poets Group was formed in 2002. The group typically meets on the third Saturday of every month at Noah Webster Library and will be a hybrid meeting (both through Zoom and in person).

The mission of the group is to provide a space for poets to read their poems aloud and receive feedback. The group has self-published a number of collections featuring local poets from the group. The next meeting is Saturday, 1/21 at 10AM.

Thank You From The Kindness Project!

To all of our community members who so generously and kindly donated hygiene products to the Kindness Project – We thank you from the bottom of our hearts! With your help, we donated 100 boxes of products to the West Hartford Food Pantry, the Fern Street Universalist Church and the Village for Families and Children.

The diapers and deodorant, toilet paper and toothpaste, hair products, soap, laundry detergent and so much more make life a little bit easier for those who cannot easily access those products.

You stepped up and showed bold acts of kindness! Looking forward to the Kindness Project 2023!  Carol Waxman and Bailey Berardino, co-chairs.
