A Piet Oudolf Story: Naturalistic Landscape and Garden Designing
“A Piet Oudolf Story” is a personal introduction to the design principles of the leading naturalistic landscape & garden designer in the world, Piet Oudolf. Presenter Deborah Chud’s five years of research on Oudolf’s gardens led to her own Oudolfian garden and the only known database of his plant combinations. Her talk is part memoir, part history, and part design theory–with some practical Oudolfian “dos and don’ts” for gardeners at every level. Wednesday, 8/4 at 6:30PM.

CT Screenwriters meets virtually on Wednesday July 28 at 7:00pm. The group will be critiquing the script, "Judas and the Black Messiah," the story of Fred Hampton, Chairman of the Illinois Black Panther Party, and his betrayal by an FBI informant. Learn the Nepali Language
Have you ever wanted to learn the language of Nepal? Here's your chance! Thursday mornings in August and September, the library invites Nepal native Meena Karki, education coordinator for Education for Life, to teach patrons the language of Nepali, including basic Nepali language words, greetings in Nepali, common expressions, and Nepali sentence structure. Series starts on Thursday, 8/5 at 9AM.
