I don't think there has ever been a time in American history when we have so needed good trouble." West Hartford author Steve Thornton will talk about his book in this virtual program on Sunday, February 21 and how it contains important lessons for all who understand that the struggle for social justice is not over.

African Americans have played a major role in the development of our state, our nation and our world. African American women from Connecticut are no exception! Join us on Wednesday February 24 for an interactive multi-media program by the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame and learn about some of Connecticut's most remarkable African American heroines.

On Tuesday, March 2, join us for an important conversation with YA authors and activists Julia Tannenbaum and Jen Petro-Roy, who will talk about their books that address eating disorders, mental health, and recovery. Prizes will be awarded. Open to students in grades 6 to 12.
