Ticks and Tick-Borne Diseases
Research scientist Dr. Goudarz Molaei will discuss the current status of ticks in Connecticut, as well as tick-borne diseases and measures to prevent tick bites. Tuesday, July 13 at 1PM.

Do You Like Books and Yarn-Related Crafts?
Beginning on Tuesday, August 10, join us on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss a book and your knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, felting, or other yarn-related crafts. Music for the Birds
Join music historian Jeffrey Engel on Thursday, July 8 at 1PM to learn about and listen to composers with a connection to birds from the past 400 years! Many composers have been inspired by bird songs since at least Clemens Non Papa and his "Réveil des Oiseaux." Since then, music has been written about cuckoos, cockerels, ducks, larks, magpies, nightingales, owls, parrots, swans, wood doves, and unhatched chicks.

Virtual Chess for Teens
Calling all teens! If you are in grade 6-12, join us for Virtual Chess Club hosted by Team DIG USA. This series is for intermediate to advanced players who would like to learn new tricks to improve their game. Every Tuesday in July.

KC Sisters in Concert
Join the KC Sisters at Eisenhower Park for a fun-filled outdoor concert on Wednesday, August 4 at 6PM. The Casey Family are sisters Noelle, Deanna, Tasha, Elise, & Kathleen who have music in their DNA. The girls were raised by two musicians and introduced to multiple genres of music from rock & roll, country, gospel, folk, R&B and Jazz.
