An interactive post-screening program with Associate Producer Helen Kramer will include skill-building for difficult conversations across divides.

West Hartford READS! Returns with Gish Jen
Acclaimed author Gish Jen will visit West Hartford Town Hall on Monday, October 4 for West Hartford Reads! 2021. Her visit was originally scheduled for last fall, but we pushed it back due to the pandemic. but You Can Get a Stones Program
Professor of music, composer, and bassist Brian Q. Torff will present a critical overview of the Rolling Stones on Wednesday, 6/30 at 1PM. Torff will look at the Stones' complex legacy and their impact on the evolution of rock 'n' roll. From "Satisfaction" to "Street Fightin’ Man," the Rolling Stones have endured as a reflection of the good, bad, and ugly in modern times.

Teen D&D at WHPL
Join us this summer for virtual Dungeons and Dragons programs hosted by teen volunteers. The June 12 and July 10 sessions will be D&D 3.5e (advanced, grades 9-12) and the June 26 and July 24 sessions will be 5th edition (all levels, grades 6-8). To participate, please have a pencil and paper and dice available and be ready to be challenged.

Outdoor Story Times in June!
Join us for stories, music, and more on the front lawn of the Noah Webster Library on Friday June 11th at 11AM and Friday, June 25th at 11AM. Story Time is open to children ages 2 - 5, with registration required (children only). This event is weather permitting. When in doubt, please call 860.561.6980 on the day of the program to confirm. Please bring a beach towel or blanket — and sunscreen!
