Hey there and happy Hump Day to ya.

OUC said yesterday that we can go back to our normal water consumption. Not that we necessarily should, but we can. 🙃

Just a few months ago, the utility company along with Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer asked us to hold off on watering our lawns and washing our cars in an attempt to preserve liquid oxygen — something that’s used in basic water treatment but is also needed for COVID-19 patients. Customers cut back on water usage as much as 16 percent since mid-August which was no small feat.

But hey, enough about that. I know why you’re really here today. You’re looking for the latest Wednesday food and drink news roundup. In the words of country music artist and Tik Tok sensation Walker Hayes, “(Two straws, one drink) girl, I got you.”

Keep reading for 4 minutes and 40 seconds of Orlando's tastiest news nuggets.

Today’s food roundup is very fancy-like. (📸: @giphy) | Wanna see your photo here? Tag either #pulptown or @pulptown on Instagram to be featured as our IG of the Day!

What Orlando is talking about

🍻 Just because we’re not experiencing highs of 60 degrees right about now, doesn’t mean fall doesn’t exist around here. Check out 21 Orlando beers to sip this season, courtesy of our pals at Orlando Weekly. (Orlando Weekly

👀 There could soon be two A La Carts. The popular craft beer and food truck spot is currently scoping a second location and is looking in the SoDo area. There’s an Orange County Planning and Zoning Approval Meeting scheduled for next Thursday, Oct. 21 at 9 a.m. and we’ll likely know more then. (Bungalower

🍷 Hungry Pants is launching a new nighttime menu this weekend that’ll surely pique your interest. It’s dubbed Nibbed and Tipple and is half small bites (Hungry Pants) and half wine (Golden Hour Wine), and is presumably wholly delicious. On the menu: scratch-made bread, fried mushroom nuggets, grazing boards, the works. The new menu launches this Friday, Oct. 15, and will be served on Fridays and Saturdays only, from 4 p.m. to close. (Bungalower)

🍽️ A South Florida favorite is coming to Restaurant Row. Voodoo Bayou, a southern cajun kitchen, has plans of opening in the former Moonfish spot though no official date has been set just yet. (Orlando Weekly

🚫 Bad As’s Sandwich announced yesterday that it had closed its Winter Park location. The sandwich slingers took to Instagram to make the statement, promising new projects in the works, and inviting everyone to visit them at their original location in the Milk District. ⏰ This is your friendly reminder that Magical Dining ends this weekend. The annual six-week-long foodie event that gives you a three-course tasting of a restaurant’s offerings for only $37 ends Sunday. Local food blogger Faye (@fayespov) recommends Morton’s Steakhouse and Christina (@somehowimnotfat) says The Strand is where it’s at. Check out the link to see what eateries are participating. 👉 (Visit Orlando Magical Dining

🎉 Forgot to thaw out the chicken again? Get in line, bud. I do it at least twice a week. But, not to worry. So many new restaurants have opened in the last few months and surely there’s one you haven’t tried. Check out this roundup of Orlando’s 25 hottest new restaurants right now. (Orlando Weekly

🔍 It’s Hispanic Heritage Month for a few more days and not that you need an extra reason to eat delicious food that celebrates Latin and Hispanic culture, our pals at Tasty Chomps have rounded up 17 of their favorite Latin-owned restaurants in town that you should be supporting year-round. (Tasty Chomps)

Looking for a new coffee shop to try? (Brie, I saw that you were looking for a new place three days ago!) Local color blog Lemonhearted just updated its Orlando Coffee Map and I can guarantee there’s a cold brew calling your name from at least one or 10 of the places on the list. (Lemonhearted
