Bill and Grace Harding

Colorful Ethiopia

August 2015

My prayer today:

Forbid, O Lord God that my thoughts today should be wholly occupied with the world's passing show.

See in Your lovingkindness, You have given me the power to lift my mind to the contemplation of things unseen and eternal, forbid that I should remain content with the things of sense and time. Grant rather, that each day may do something so to strengthen my hold upon the unseen world, so to increase my sense of reality, and so to attach my heart to its holy interests that, as the end of my earthly life draws ever nearer, I may not grow to be a part of these fleeting earthly surroundings but rather grow more and more conformed to the life of the world to come. Grant me that grace, Lord Jesus.  Amen   A DIARY OF PRIVATE PRAYER, John Baillie

With that prayer in mind...

Bill is heading to Ethiopia at the end of the month to plant seeds in that land that will strengthen the church in Ethiopia and lead to releasing digital resources that will empower church leadership development.

My guest and traveling companion is Mr. Jeff Risk, who has much experience in this area of expertise. Jeff is a Christian business man from Belmont, NC who has a great heart to equip God's people with today's tools. He glorifies God by discovering, developing and distributing resources to enhance global evangelism and discipleship.
August 7-9  Bill will be preaching in Gillette, Wyoming at the Truth Festival. As our nation rapidly distances from Christian principles and values, the American people are offering Satan a firmer foothold inside our culture and inside the American church. It is becoming more and more noticeably clear that defending the faith is important, especially for evangelism.
At this hour, Grace and our daughter, Kara are in Fort Myers, FL visiting her mom, June Gustafson, 91. This week June fell and broke her hip. She underwent surgery successfully to repair and strengthen the hip. The rehab will be very difficult , but her strength is in the Lord. She looks prety good for a 91 year old!

Pray

  • Pray for Bill and Jeff in their ministry in Ethiopia, Sept. 2-17.  Pray for safety in travel, sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, selection of the people of God's choosing to lead in the distribution of digital resources for the building up of the kingdom of God.
  • Pray for Bill and the other speakers at The Truth Festival in Gillette, WY. For boldness, humility and communication power that many may be saved and come to know the truth of living with the hope of Jesus Christ.
  • Pray for Grace and Kara visiting her mom.   Pray that their visit will be a healing balm, encouraging her in her fear and her pain. Pray for complete healing.
  • Pray for our son, Ryan, his wife, Melissa in their move to Phoenix, AZ. This past week they closed on there former home in Colorado Springs. Pray as they seek new housing and schools for their three children in Phoenix.
