Next door to Hearts Desire Firestone Gallery and Design House will have a special Valentine's room decked out to take your photo with your sweetheart. Homemade sweetheart treats and gift bags for kids. Live music by Horn and Early on Friday night. And at Sally's Studio at 1221 12th in front of Hearts Desire, great fine art on sale! Hand Painted, Handmade and Gorgeous

Stop by Hearts Desire to see what's new and exciting on the fashion scene for 2016. The hand painted tunic from Adore and the handmade Native American style embroidered jacket by Cherie Ketchum of Bradenton below are great examples of current trends.The multi-fabric drape with long sides in the lower left photo is dramatic, colorful and lightweight. The gorgeous tunic on the right is from Bradenton photographer and clothing designer, Marlinda Thomason. Marlinda shoots the photograph, digitizes it in the computer, has fabric made from the image and creates the top!

The Great Wall of China Challenge

My friend, Jane Snoxell, has undertaken a fundraising challenge in memory of her niece who passed away last year from cancer. She will walk the Great Wall and make a contribution to the cancer hospital that treated her niece.

Hearts Desire will do a pop-up boutique at her home in University Park and a portion of sales will help Jane reach her goal. Call 302-1069 to RSVP.
