EPSA Annual Reception 2015:
Healthcare Workforce

The EPSA Annual Reception is an exclusive event of excellence. This year, it is being held on 12th March in Brussels (Belgium) and it will be focused on the Healthcare Workforce.

The healthcare workforce is commonly referred to as human resources. It is defined as “all people engaged in actions whose primary intent is to enhance health” [1] and both the World Health Organisation and European Commission have pinpointed it as an extremely important topic. In fact, there will be an estimated shortage of one million healthcare workers in European Union by 2020 [2].

The Annual Reception consists of different parts. A presentation is first given by the key speakers. Attendees are then able to put forward their ideas and questions on the subject. A reception follows the discussion, whereby the attendees can continue discussing the topic and ask more questions to the speakers and fellow attendees.
