Hygiene your summer!

EPSA Public Health Campaigns aim to empower pharmacy students and patients through knowledge and education. With EPSA members’ help and GSK support, the Hygiene Awareness Campaign is being organised at European level throughout the months of July and August.

To set an example, EPSA and the Polish Reception Committee for the 18th Summer University carried out this campaign in Białystok in order to educate the general public on which diseases can be prevented by having a good hygiene. Besides the workshop where the participants learned the aim of this public health campaign and the pharmacist role in counseling patients, they had the opportunity to get in direct contact with the general public and share their knowledge about this topic.

The locations for the campaign were: Branicki Palace and Alfa Mall from Białystok and the activities were linked with different types of hygiene. The winners of the public health campaign photography contest were: Monika Čičová (Slovakia) and Hera Mobeen Ali (UK).

EPSA Mentoring Project

This project aims to establish a bond between current professionals and students, in order to provide them with the career guidance under an international perspective of development!

Each student will have the chance to choose a mentor within their desired area of interest, with whom they can establish regular contact over e-mail, Skype or face-to-face meetings. This will allow the sharing of experience and knowledge between the two of them.
