40TH INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY
Let's get ready to celebrate Antigua and Barbuda's 40th Independence Anniversary on 1 November, 2021. The celebrations leading up to the Day will be unique and celebrated throughout the whole country with pride under the theme: “Resilience, Reflection and Recovery.”
ANTIGUA & BARBUDA: With the exception of the flight crew, no person may enter Antigua and Barbuda who have spent any of the preceding 14 days in Brazil or South Africa. Effective October1, 2021, all arriving passengers including returning nationals and residents are required to have received at least the first dose of the vaccine approved by the appropriate authorities in Antigua and Barbuda, in addition to a negative RT PCR test for COVID-19. UK: All persons entering or returning to the United Kingdom must provide evidence of a negative COVID-19 test taken up to three days before airport departure.
USA: All air passengers arriving in the United States from a foreign country must be tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs and to provide proof of the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight. From early November, non-citizens visiting the United States will have to show proof of vaccination and a negative COVID-19 test taken within three days of departure.
CANADA: Fully vaccinated travelers are permitted to enter Canada and not be subjected to the federal requirement to quarantine or take a COVID-19 test on Day 8.
