With over 20 resorts in Antigua & Barbuda offering on-site rapid antigen testing services to U.S. and U.K. travellers, there's no need to leave the comforts of your approved resort or hotel to be tested prior to your departure.
If your resort does not appear on the list, on-site swabbing services may be available at your resort for PCR and ANTIGEN testing at the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre, by appointment only and charges apply. For lab testing, guests must apply for a testing appointment at least seven (7) days prior to departure and certified results will be issued within 48 hours after sample collection.
In response to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases on the island and in an effort to slow the spread, the Government of Antigua and Barbuda announced on Wednesday that the nationwide COVID-19 curfew has changed. “Curfew hours commence at 8:00 pm on 29 January 2021, until 5:00 am daily thereafter, or until Friday, February 19, when it may return to a later hour each night.”
Within the new operational hours, all bars will be closed for the next 21 days and restaurants may serve take-out meals only for pickups, in accordance with COVID-safe practices. Many restaurants and eateries will remain open for take-out and/or delivery services while others are closing. We’ve compiled a list of restaurants and eateries below that have already confirmed with us and we will be updating our restaurant opening times sheet as we receive these updates.
