All residents are urged to wear the national colors and post their photos on social media using the hashtag #MyAntiguaBarbuda. Photos can also be of local cuisine, music, historical sites, beaches, the National Flag, and other National symbols commemorating Independence. Although the annual Food Fair will be absent this year due to the pandemic, there will be many food stalls & mini fairs around the island that you can purchase local delicacies from. Beaches are closed to the public on Monday, November 2nd. See the official Independence schedule of events here.
