Antigua and Barbuda has been nominated in several prestigious categories for the World Travel Awards 2021! In the Caribbean category, nominations include Antigua & Barbuda as a Destination, Caribbean's Leading Airport, Beach Destination & Honeymoon Destination in addition to the Caribbean's Most Romantic Destination.

In the accommodation section: Cocos Hotel, Admiral's Inn, and The Inn at English Harbour are vying for Antigua & Barbuda's Leading Boutique Hotel. Blue Waters Resort & Spa, Carlisle Bay, Curtain Bluff, Galley Bay Resort & Spa, Pineapple Beach Club, and St. James's Club Resort & Villas are all up for Antigua & Barbuda's Leading Resort.

Curtain Bluff Resort & Spa has been nominated in not one but four categories in this year's 28th Annual World Travel Awards. In the Caribbean category, other nominations include Caribbean's Leading Boutique Resort, Green Resort, and Luxury All-Inclusive Resort. St James's Club & Villas is also nominated for the Caribbean's Leading Villa Resort.

Stingray City is nominated for the Caribbean's Leading Adventure Tourist Attraction while Creole Antigua Tours and Tropical Adventures are amongst the nominees for Antigua & Barbuda's Leading Tour Operator.

Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority is nominated for the Caribbean's Leading Tourist Board award while Carib-World Travel is nominated for the Caribbean's Leading Destination Management Company and the Caribbean's Leading Travel Agency awards.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL UPDATES
 
UK: All persons entering or returning to the United Kingdom must provide evidence of a negative PCR or Antigen test, taken up to three days before airport departure. 

USA: All air passengers arriving in the United States from a foreign country must be tested no more than 3 days before their flight departs and to provide proof of the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 to the airline before boarding the flight. 


CANADA: The Government of Canada imposed a mandatory hotel quarantine on all international visitors to Canada upon arrival. Flights to Mexico and the Caribbean have been suspended until April 2021. 

Mount St. John's Medical Centre advises that travelers are required to commence the application for testing process at least 7 days prior to departure date to facilitate an appointment for swabbing, based on your travel requirements.
