CYS alums put their heads together for a new chapter on playing Shakespeare

CYS Founding Artistic Director, Manon Spadaro will be contributing a chapter to a new anthology on Playing Shakespeare, edited by Louis Fantasia and published by Peter Lang Publishing. The focus of the first volume is Playing Shakespeare's Lovers, so over the winter holidays, Manon met with a group of 15 CYS students and alums, (along with Director of Communications, Evey Reidy) for a marathon discussion about Shakespeare, love, and their experiences as young actors approaching these roles for the first time with CYS. Excerpts from the transcript of their lively and intense discussion will be included in much of the chapter. Stay tuned for a release date later this year!
