How's the traffic around your school?

Traffic and parking problems around our schools is emerging as a major concern. We have created an online survey to find out more so that we can bring the issue to the attention of government. We have already had a terrific response to the survey, but if you have not already done so, please have your say and pass on the link to other parents.

Council Policy Conference

Please join us for our policy conference, and short general meeting, on August 26 (7:00 - 9:30pm at the Centre for Teaching and Learning, 51 Fremantle Drive, Stirling). Council policy underpins everything we do, guiding our lobbying efforts and our public statements. It reflects the consensus view of our members, reached at this annual event. Please come along to have your say.

Changes to school buses

ACTION have developed a new school bus network which will begin on September 1.
Changes affecting each school are detailed here and there is a dedicated school bus information hotline: 62055033 (until September 12).  ACTION will also be contacting each school directly about the changes so that parents and students can familiarise themselves with the new routes and times.

Canteen improvement project extended

Council has extended the deadline for canteens wishing to install the Flexischools online ordering system free of charge. This means that primary schools which have not yet applied for the Flexischools online ordering system will now have until December this year to do so. High schools and colleges will also now have until December to apply for Flexischools and the point of sale systems. Find out more here.
