On the road again!

I'm enthused to be heading towards Wickenburg, AZ for the 70th Annual Gold Rush Days and Rodeo! I'll be playing at a number of events over the weekend including Opening Ceremonies on Friday morning, a set on the Wishing Well Park Stage at 2:30 and then I'm honored to be singing our National Anthem at the Rodeo Saturday and Sunday!

And it was a blast visiting with Mike and Vicki on KAFF Country Radio, they are such awesome DJ's and Vicki also has an incredible charity called the Shadows Foundation!

And speaking of Radio! As we were driving through New Mexico twisting the FM dial we stumbled upon an awesome country station playing some Great Real Country Music! KYAT Gallup, New Mexico on Route 66 is a "one of a kind"
station where their "Pubic" includes the great Navajo Nation. Many of their DJs also broadcast partly in the Navajo language. It is great that there is such a fun "Keeping It Western” feel on the Reservation. So, after hearing a ton of great Country Music, we of course had to stop by, say thanks and drop off a CD!
The staff were very welcoming.
It's certainly nice to be "on the road again" and I'm really looking forward to this weekend. After that, some exciting times in Nashville are ahead...so stay tuned!
