TDWHarris is now accepting applications for a diverse group of women to serve in leadership positions as officers the Board and Committee Chairs in 2023.
If you are interested in applying for a Leadership position, please send an email with your first and last name, contact information (phone number and email address), the position you are most interested in being considered for, a "resume" describing all educational, professional, volunteer and personal experience you would like the Nominating Committee to be aware of when considering your application, and a personal statement about why you want to be a part of TDWHarris' leadership, to vernita@tdwharris.com, Attn: Nominating Committee. Please also feel free to email us with any questions you may have about the position you are interested in or the application process.
All applicants must submit their own applications. If you know someone who you feel would be a good fit, please forward them this information and encourage them to apply; however, we prefer candidates submit their own applications so we can be sure that they are serious about their interest in the position.

NOTE: Applicants for president-elect must have served at least one (1) term on the Executive Board.
Board members are asked to attend two meetings per month and on occasion, special events that TDWHarris supports or host. Also, when possible, join us for periodic outside social and community events and activities relative to promoting our mission of electing progressive women. All applicants must be members of TDWHarris in good standing. Dues paid after November 15, 2022 will be accepted as payment of your 2023 dues.
Descriptions of the duties of the officers/Board members can be found in Article IX of TDWHarris' bylaws. As a member of the Board, you'll have opportunities to attend exclusive events, meet all sorts of activists, candidates and elected officials, work with the local party, and directly influence positive change in your community.

2023 Board elections will be held at the membership meeting on January 23, 2023.
