Apply to help design the next Women Deliver Conference

During this year’s United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 76), world leaders, advocates, and private sector actors will come together virtually from 14 - 30 September to address the world’s most pressing challenges – from COVID-19 to climate change.

Once again, UNGA will stream directly onto screens around the world. As advocates, we have a unique opportunity to reinforce why gender equality – and the health and rights of girls and women, in all their intersecting identities – must remain at the center of every discussion and decision.

This year, Women Deliver is proud to support meaningful youth engagement and co-leadership at UNGA through the attendance of over 50 Women Deliver Young Leaders at YOUNGA and UNGA.

We hope you will join us in championing why building forward a healthier, more equitable, and more sustainable world for all people and the planet depends on realizing gender equality. Safeguarding and Advancing SRHR in Universal Health Coverage: Prioritizing SRHR in UHC before, during, and after COVID-19

Join Women Deliver, Women Deliver Board Member and former Prime Minister of New Zealand Helen Clark, and key stakeholders from the Alliance for Gender Equality and Universal Health Coverage, Ipas Nepal, KEFEADO, the United Nations University's International Institute for Global Health, and the WHO, as we begin preparations for the 2023 UN High-Level Meeting on UHC, in exploring UHC as a pathway for advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and building forward a more gender-equal future, including in COVID-19 response and recovery.

The WD2023 Conference Advisory Group will provide strategic advice and input on the development and implementation of WD2023 and the Global Dialogue by co-creating the Conference's theme, design, and programming. This group of diverse stakeholders will also play a leading role in shaping the Global Dialogue, fostering collaboration, and driving collective action before, during, and after the Conference.

The mission of the Advisory Group is to:

1. Ensure that WD2023 is co-designed to be the most inclusive, diverse, accessible, and consultative Women Deliver Conference yet.

2. Share strategic advice regarding Conference content, operations, and the implementation of Conference programming.

3. Provide mobilization support and disseminate information to a broader network of advocates to help increase participation and diversify the Conference audience.

4. Contribute to the co-design and co-creation of the Conference.
