The TCI Network is in the process of selecting candidate organizations to host a TCI conference, including its 23rd TCI Global Conference, TCI 2020. TCI is looking for a host who demonstrates creative capabilities to make a unique and interesting proposal, with a proven record in working with competitiveness and cluster issues and in organising world class events in this field. Please note that TCI will only answers organizations that actively support programs on competitiveness and cluster development.

The second meeting of the TCI Digitization Learning Group will be taking place the 11-12 February in Essen, Germany. Practitioners from 5 different countries will gather to talk about #digitization, #innovation and #competitiveness and the challenges that #clusters face around these topics. The next TCI Cluster Evaluation Working Group Workshop will meet in Malmö, Sweden on 15-16 April hosted by Region Skåne. The event, which is part of the EU Cluster Week, is free to TCI members. If you would like to join the group, click here.

2018 was a very busy year for the group, with active participation across the TCI family of events, which took us from Australia to Canada, across Europe and into Africa and Asia. The fifth and final episode of Global Cluster Strategies of the Clusters & Competitiveness podcast featured a four person round table of experts from the TCI Network Board of Directors during the recent TCI Network Global Conference hosted by the Institute of Competitiveness & Prosperity in Toronto. The panel was made up of James Wilson, Tracy Scott-Rimington, Merete Daniel Nielsen & Marco Llinás, members of the TCI Board of Directors.
