Day 1: If you treasure it, you’ll measure it. The importance of measuring your reputation 
Regine le Roux, Managing Director at Reputation Matters

Delegates will be armed with an overview of what the building blocks of a reputation are and SMART goals they can implement as soon as they are back in the office to help them take their reputation to the next level. What area of the business is building up or breaking down your business’ reputation? Day 2: Ethics is an essential foundation for a sound reputation
Cynthia Schoeman, Managing Director at Ethics Monitor      

An interactive session on the importance of ethics and building it into the DNA of an organisation. The session will build 
in an understanding of workplace ethics to explore key questions such as: Why does ethics make good sense for the organisation? Are you managing ethics effectively enough to avoid ethical failures and reputation damage? How effective are your leaders as ethical role models and how well do they manage ethical decisions and dilemmas?

This session will be presented by Cynthia Schoeman, Founder and Managing Director of Ethics Monitor.        
Day 3: Internal communication ~ Bringing values to life!
Kristina Malther, Managing Director at Open Cape Town

An interactive session where delegates will be taken through a process of identifying key internal areas to focus on to get messages communicated throughout the organisation. 

The day will be facilitated by Kristina Malther, Managing Director of Open Cape Town
During the morning you will go through:  
  • Core principles of internal communication;
  • Tendencies in internal communication; and
  • Developing and implementing an internal communication strategy: step-by-step and cases. 
In the afternoon: 
  • Why values matter;
  • How to identify and define corporate values: step-by-step and cases.; and
  • How to bring values to life in the organisation: step-by-step and cases.
Day 4: Writing course ~ getting your message across in writing
Jennigay Coetzer, freelance writer, journalist, author, editor and trainer 

Written content is often the first contact point between a company and its customers, so it is vital to get it right. This session will help participants of all levels of experience to develop and hone their writing skills. The content will include writing style, technique and flow, word usage, troublesome words and phrases, enriching content, punctuation, not leaving questions in the reader’s mind and editing skills. Editing enhances writing ability.

This session will be presented by freelance writer, journalist, author, editor and trainer Jennigay Coetzer. 
Day 5: Meet the media
Ashleigh Hamilton, well-seasoned journalist  

How should you engage with different (print/broadcast) journalists? How can you maximise your media outputs? We'll discuss media matters in different African countries.

This session will be presented by Ashleigh Hamilton, well-seasoned, award-winning journalist, who has travelled extensively across the continent.
