Dear AWMA colleagues,

At CPS Energy, we are committed to serving our community with the products and services they truly want. As we look forward to our flexible energy future, we are seeking community input to help us make decisions that will benefit all of San Antonio for years to come.

Everyone has different opinions and ideas, and we want to listen. To this end, we have put together two surveys that are soliciting public input in regards to our future energy generation portfolio and our customer energy management programs, respectively. The FlexPOWER Bundle survey will help us understand what the community thinks about our “blended energy approach,” while the FlexSTEP survey gives us more insight into which energy management programs customers want to see in the future.

I’m reaching out to my fellow AWMA members to ask for your help in completing these surveys and passing them along to others who might be interested in filling them out. It is vital for us to collect as many responses as possible to gather as many viewpoints as we can.

You can find more info about our Flexible Path, as well as the links to both surveys, by
clicking here. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Juan Sandoval
Past AWMA Chair

A Letter from the Chair

Dear A&WMA Alamo Chapter Members,

I hope you all had a wonderful summer and were able to take some time off!  It flew by for me and my family.  It is time to get back into the swing of things for the fall.  School is back in session and the fall luncheons will start on September 19th

We ended the spring with the Symposium.  I want to say thank you again to all the speakers, sponsors, and attendees.  As the summer started, we also had to say goodbye and good luck to Misti Johnson (our Vice Chair) as she started her new adventure in the Houston area.  We are now looking for Misti’s replacement.  If you are interested in this position on the A&WMA Board, please contact any of the Board members or send an e-mail to the following e-mail address:
info@AWMA.org.  The Vice Chair’s main responsibility is finding speakers and sponsors for the luncheons.  Our Board is truly a team effort, and everyone helps.

Thank you all for your continued participation in A&WMA luncheons and activities.  Member participation keeps the organization going and your continued support is appreciated.

Best regards,
Heather Johnson
AWMA Alamo Chapter Chair
