An Outstanding Achievement

Giving children the best start in life has been a core value here at Manor Gardens since we were set up in 1913. Our Pre-school setting now offers a rich and vibrant learning environment where children are highly stimulated. And we have just been rated as ‘Outstanding’ in all elements by Ofsted in May 2016. The Report from 5th May 2016 states:
  • The pre-school provides a rich and vibrant learning environment where the children are highly stimulated.
  • Staff are skillful in their interactions with children.
  • Partnerships with parents are exceptional and a particular strength at the setting.
  • Children who have special educational needs or a disability and those who speak English as an additional language are supported extremely well.
  • All staff are highly skilled and sensitive in helping children form secure emotional attachments and provide an exceptionally strong base for children’s developing independence and exploration.

Our future is safe
in their hands
At the beginning of June we were lucky enough to host eight students from UCL as part of the UCL Global Citizenship Programme.
The students came from a wide range of disciplines and cultures and undertook three projects for us, including research into our services, planning for our Keynote Lecture in September and marketing and sponsorship help with the Summer Wellbeing Festival. Read more about what they achieved.
Wellbeing Service
A reminder that our Wellbeing Service goes live on 1st July. We'll be recruiting Mental Health Champions from all walks of life to help us break down the taboos surrounding mental health and to help people find the right source of help and advice. From 1st July you can contact the team on 020 7561 5291 or
