Our application is in!
We placed our application for Forum Status with Westminster City Council, some time ago.
They then asked us for a run-down of membership. So we submitted a diagram setting out just how our membership is made up. (See image below)
We expect to hear soon.
We are pleased to announce that we have been given a modest grant from the Ward Councillors to continue our consultation work, to maintain this website and to ensure that we contact as many businesses and residents as possible.
Crossrail
In response to one of the Topic Groups we have set up a discussion group between Crossrail, FitzEast and Soho Neighbourhood Forum.
We all think it is important to plan for the increased footfall at the Tottenham Court Road station and for any traffic, taxi or delivery issues that might arise. We feel by working with the other local forums we can better plan for pedestrian flows. If you'd like to be a part of that group, contact us. Crossrail Group
Planning Applications
We have started talks with some developers in the area. Our aim is to establish a checklist of issues and become part of the pre-application discussion (when most modifications can be made)
