Farming in the Steel City

Sheffield, UK, is known as the “Steel City” due to its industrial past. So it is rather surprising when you walk through a residential part of the city, down a street lined with red brick houses and you find at the end a real working farm. Biodiversity, new tools for farmers and scientists

€ 5.5 million for digital applications for agriculture

FRACTALS aims to support innovative ICT SMEs and web-entrepreneurs to develop FIWARE-based applications which address the needs of the agricultural sector. The FRACTALS call will be published on 30 November 2014. More info here.
