Central Pennsylvania Voices - Marie Nester was a guest on this local radio program that is produced and aired on WHYF AM 720 Holy Family Radio. Marie discussed the organizing and founding of St. Ann Parish, questions about the God with Us textbook series that she helped to author and the Byzantine Catholic Faith. Halupki Dinner - will be hosted by the Knights of Columbus on Sunday, November 13 from 11:30 until 3:00 pm. Adults $12.00, child $6.00 and children 5 and under eat free. Also, enjoy free samples of homemade baked goods from our Byzantine Nuns in Sugarloaf, PA.  Order forms are currently located in the vestibule of the church.  Order deadline is Sunday, November 13. Pick up orders on Sunday, November 20 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Thank you in advance for supporting the Saint Ann Knights of Columbus and our Byzantine Nuns. 

Parish Family Fall Event - "Lunch and Bowling"- Sunday, November 6 - To all parishioners we will have LUNCH in the Parish Center immediately after the second Liturgy until 12:45 pm,   From 1-3:00 ??pm, we have reserved bowling lanes at ABC NORTH BOWLING LANES just down the street from our Church.  This is a Free Event, hosted by  Saint Ann Eastern Christian Formation (ECF) Parents Organization. Please join us in having Fun!  Look for the Sign Up Sheet in the Church narthex.  Contact Steve Bobar with questions at (717) 649-5470.

Bingo Games - The following parishioners are volunteering their time and talent to work bingo on November 4: Karen Grubb, Bill Hill, Christine MacMillan, Silvia Olcakova, Katherine and John Skitka, Stephanie and Mike Taylor.   Kitchen help is needed. Shifts are 4:45 pm until 7:30 pm. Please contact Francis Drotar @ 717-585-8479 if you are able to help in the kitchen.

Mardi Gras - Thank you to everyone who has helped make Mardi Gras a success since 2006. A new chairperson(s) is needed for this one-night activity that is open to the public to be able to continue.  If you are interested in volunteering to be the chairperson for Mardi Gras Slavic Style 2023 or if you have any questions, contact the church office at 717-652-1415.

Veterans Day Cards - St Ann's Helping Hands group would like to send Veterans Day cards on behalf of the parish to our military members who are currently serving at home and overseas. If you have a family member in the service, please either email (  or call the parish office at 717-652-1415 with the currenaddress.

Thanksgiving Food Drive - St. Ann Helping Hands is supporting the Silence of Mary Home with their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.  Our parish has been asked to contribute cans of cranberry sauce and canned yams.  Please place your donations in the Silence of Mary bin in the Church alcove.
Early Coat Drive - As colder weather approaches, Helping Hands is assisting the Silence of Mary Home with an early coat drive. All sizes and gender of coats are needed.  Adult, children sizes 14, 16, 18, 20 and junior and youth coats sizes small, medium, large.  Please ensure that the coats have been laundered or dry-cleaned.  The Home has no ability to clean any items donated.  Donations of new or gently coats, hats, gloves, scarves are welcome, but the need for coats is most dire.  The collection bin is located in the parish hall.  If you would prefer to give a monetary donation, we will gladly do the shopping for you. Deposit an envelope in the regular weekly collection clearly marked “Helping Hands Coat Drive”.  Also please write “Helping Hands Coat Drive” in the bottom left had corner of your check.  Checks should still be made out to St. Ann Byzantine Catholic Church.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
Glossy Magazines - St. Ann Helping Hands continues to collect glossy magazines for the Ronald McDonald House.  We appreciate your past support, but have one request.  Please bag magazines before placing them in the bin. This will greatly assist in their transport.

Craft Show - On Saturday,  November 5, Holy Name of Jesus Church Annual CCW Craft Show will be held from 8:30-2:00 p.m. in the gymnasium.  With free admission and over 27 vendors, basket raffles, and breakfast and lunch being served, this is one event you won't want to miss to kick off your Christmas shopping!

Christmas Baking  - Baking for Walnut, Apricot, and Poppyseed Rolls all through October on Mondays and Tuesdays. Help is always needed. We welcome you. The sale is Saturday, December 10, from 9 a.m. until noon. All rolls are $12.00 each. No orders can be taken—first-come, first-serve basis.
