Hi Parents,
Thank you to the PTA for providing mini pies for the staff on Monday. It was a nice Thanksgiving surprise for the staff.
Thank you to the PTA for hosting the annual Soup and Salad event for the staff on Wednesday, November 17. It was a wonderful treat. We appreciate all of the parents’ donations to make the event possible. The staff looks forward to Soup and Salad Days each year.
We are accepting enrollment forms for the 2022–2023 school year. Please enroll you child if you plan to have them join us for kindergarten or if they will be returning for first through fifth grades. We would prefer to have the enrollment forms submitted by early February to allow HR to have a better idea of the staffing that will need to be allotted for the new school year to address the enrollment level. Please contact Ms. Huffstetler to submit your paperwork and documentation at erikab.huffstetler@cms.k12.nc.us. You may download the necessary forms here:

Friday, December 17, will be a school-wide PAJAMA DAY!!!! Please add the date to your calendars.
Happy Thanksgiving! The school will be closed on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week. We’ll see everyone again on Monday, November 29. We hope that you have a fun and safe holiday.

Yearbook Cover Art Contest
The Yearbook Cover Art contest is open to all fifth-grade students. This year’s theme will be “Eagle Spirit," or “Soaring for . . . ,” or “My Sharon School Family." We want to encourage fifth graders to reflect back on their time at Sharon and what makes them proud to be a Sharon Eagle. Please use an unlined 8.5 x 11-inch sheet of paper for your illustration.
All entries must be submitted to your homeroom teacher or emailed to yearbook@sharonschoolpta.org by Friday, December 17, for consideration.

Please help stock the break room with snacks for our hardworking teachers and staff by either bringing in individually wrapped items to the front office or purchasing something from our Amazon wish list. These items can be shipped directly to the school.
