Playing the Rhythm in Your Head
We have a new lesson for you by Robert Force. Robert is well-known in the mountain dulcimer world for his rhythmic playing. In this lesson, Robert teaches us techniques we can use to add rhythm to our playing.  He believes that the key to playing rhythmically is by listening to the sounds in the world around us and listening to what we hear in our heads.

Robert Force is a performer and composer on the Appalachian dulcimer. He is also a producer, and the author of In Search of the Wild Dulcimer, Wild Dulcimer Songbook, and Pacific Rim Dulcimer Songbook. You can listen to the first video in Robert's new series by clicking here.

As always, if you have any questions, always feel free to ask Steve or myself.

Happy dulcimering,
Linda

Follow Steve

Steve has spent his summer and fall touring and playing all over the United States.  It seemed that as soon as he made it home for a quick visit with his family, it was time to take off again.

If you're interested, like I am, in knowing about Steve's latest adventures - there's more than one way to do that ...

  1. Keep up with Steve by reading the posts on his blog.

  2. Check out Steve's personal website, and sign up to be on his mailing list while you're there.

  3. Send a friend request to Steve on his FB page and follow us on our DC Facebook page.

I find different nuggets about what Steve has been up to with every link.
