TRAINER/S
Ms Simone Lai

Simone teaches Religious and Moral Education and is the Faith Formation Coordinator at SJI Elementary School (SJIIES), a school that uses the Virtues Project as an intrinsic part of its approach to supporting the students’ development in the virtues so that they can learn to become people for others. As a trained Virtues Project Facilitator, Simone collaborates with management and staff of SJIIES to deepen the culture of practicing virtues and she uses all the strategies of the Virtues Project in her teaching role and pastoral work at the school.

She coordinates the catechism program for Kindergarten children and Elementary Students at SJIIES and teaches catechism. Prior to joining SJIIES, Simone served as a catechist to children in a parish setting and in PAFED’s educational projects of the Catechism of the Good Shepherd for children of age 3 to 12 for over a decade. Simone was a co-founder of PAFED (a not-for profit organization), whose educational institutions; Cherrybrook Kindergarten and Cherrybrook Preschool have been using the strategies of the Virtues Project for years as an integral part of their approach to realizing their mission of educating children of character.
