This just past Thursday, GEORGIA PORTS, Port of Savannah, took delivery of 4 new ship-to-shore cranes, KONE CRANES. These will be the largest ship-to-shore cranes on the East Coast.
Same day I got an invitation to photograph the new cranes arrival from the bow, the mooring lines deck, of the CHICAGO EXPRESS, a Hapag-Lloyd vessel, berthed immediately adjacent to Container Berth 1, under construction, the new home for the new cranes.
