After a year of having a single page with contact info and an "Under Construction" headline, is finally up and running. Please take a moment and check it out. Share it with your friends. Visit the e-commerce shopping pages. There are just a few items for sale now. But that will change!

I was fortunate to work with Abacus Web Services to help me build the framework of the site with my direction. I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on the navigation of the site.

FRIDAY, AUGUST  7,  6-9:00 PM

Stop on by Hearts Desire this Friday or Saturday and see all the wonderful fashions and jewelry in the shop!  There are always new designs from Cherie Ketchum and I have been very industrious making lovely new necklaces. Discover your Artistic Expression at Hearts Desire!

One of the most exciting clothing
lines that I have found in a while is
Omdaya from Fort Lauderdale. I love
their sublimated print pants with
Vogue covers from the 40s and 50s.
I am getting an order of 3 Mediums-
size 8-12 and 3 Smalls- size 4-8.
And also the same Vogue covers in
black and white pant styles too.

I have a difficult time keeping these pants in stock – Call Hearts Desire at 302-1069 if you are interested.
We recently ran off to Asheville to escape the heat and humidity and visit friends. My best bud from Ringling has a wonderful studio/gallery in the River Arts District. He works in oils and cold wax. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 4 frames abstracts shown in the picture.

We also visited Sam and Jill Hershfield at their cozy cabin outside of Hendersonville, NC. We went hiking in DuPont Forest to take in the beautiful falls and mountains there. Pictured is Triple Falls. The Hunger Games were filmed in this beautiful area.

When we walked on the rocks we found an area of the rock that the swirling water had over time worn away in the perfect shape of a heart! How cool is that? Had to take a picture!

We also spent two nights at the lovely Shoji Spa, also in the mountains. For a resident of SRQ the last 28 years, driving up, up, up on narrow roads with hairpin turns was quite an experience. The spa has lovely hot and cold pools in little private houses with one side open to the surrounding forest. It was lovely, relaxing and not overly expensive. We stayed in a spacious loft bedroom complete with a fireplace, though we didn't need to light a fire as the weather was pleasantly warm.
See you in September!
