A Word From The Editor
Kita bersyukur kepada Tuhan bahwa bulan misi sudah berjalan dengan lancar. Khususnya waktu puncak acara di Konferensi Misi, kita bisa belajar dari Rev. Dana Ostby bagaimana tantangan dan pergumulan yang dia alami sebagai missionary di Indonesia dan istrinya yang menderita penyakit terminal selama sepuluh tahun. Kita bisa belajar untuk terus bersandar kepada Tuhan dan meminta kekuatan daripadaNya di saat kita mengalami tantangan hidup. Kiranya kita bisa selalu memiliki semangat bermisi untuk menjadi saksi Kristus dimana pun kita berada melalui interaksi kita dengan teman-teman atau anggota keluarga kita.
Mengingat tema gereja kita yaitu Kristus, Pusat Hidupku, kita mau belajar untuk menempatkan Yesus sebagai yang terutama di kehidupan kita setiap saat. Sering kali kita berdoa lebih banyak untuk diri kita sendiri supaya Tuhan memberkati kita, tetapi kita juga perlu ingat untuk mendoakan orang lain. Kita mau berserah kepada Tuhan supaya Dia menjawab semua permohonan doa menurut kehendakNya dan waktuNya saja. Kita mau selalu bertekun dalam doa dan mencari wajahNya setiap saat karena Dia adalah tempat perlindungan yang sejati dan tidak pernah meninggalkan kita.
Kiranya Tuhan terus memimpin langkah kehidupan kita sebagai umat Kristus dan biarlah kita terus memancarkan sinar Kristus didalam hubungan dan interaksi kita dengan orang lain.

The Greek word of “trial” is “peirasmois”. It is the same Greek word used for “temptation”. So “peirasmos” can mean both “trial” and “temptation”.
