May 2021 Update
Dear Faithful Supporters
“Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore,…” Ephesians 6:11-14
Praise the Lord that we are still standing after a particular heavy period of spiritual warfare! A special thank you to the handful of you who fasted and prayed with us in our time of need! We have been refreshed through your prayers, however, as many of you already know, especially in these times, spiritual battles are ongoing. We ask you to please continue in intercessory prayer for us and Grace of Life Baptist Church in Sanmihaiul, Romania. Pray for extra refillings of the Spirit and for Godly wisdom as we gear up for the next battle.
In past experiences, we have seen that the devil likes to attack hard before a spiritual victory and also right after a spiritual victory. For three years now, we have been working tirelessly along with the Scott family (fellow missionaries from New Zealand) in our children’s ministry with the bus kids and now we finally also have a promising teens group, all out of our bus ministry. Praise the Lord, that throughout these years many children and young people have been saved! Although, we have also done so much to reach out in their homes, yet not a one of their parents have made any decisions for the Lord. They come to church, we often have wonderful visits with them in their homes, but so far they only seem to tell us what we want to hear and never actually follow through in trusting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. It is our prayer that very soon we will win the victory and reap the fruit of the gospel in their hearts for the Lord.
