The Cristinoiu Family Christmas 2020 Update

Dear Faithful Supporters

Although this year has not gone to plan for many of us, it has all gone according to the Lord’s plan. God is always in control. He always has a plan. Our lives are secure with him. And despite this year of disruption and change we can trust His plan because we trust Him! Praise the Lord that thousands of years ago, God, worked out a plan for our salvation! And everyday we are coming closer to His plan of our meeting with Him in the sky!

It was definitely NOT in our plans for all of us in the Cristinoiu house hold to get sick this month, but praise the Lord that our symptoms were mild and we bounced back in time to celebrate Christmas with our church family and friends.

We thank God for our good health, but we have several friends who are suffering and need our prayers urgently! Please pray for our sending church Pastor Steve Rebert and his wife Donna Rebert, who both have covid. Pastor Rebert is a cancer survivor and is currently in the hospital under critical care. Please pray that his oxygen levels improve and that medications work toward recovery.

Please also pray for the Cuibuș family and for Victoria, their newborn baby girl. Victoria was born premature and has developed water on the brain. She needs to be transported to a hospital in Cluj, Romania for surgery. To make matters worse, we also suspect gross malpractice from her current doctors here in Zalau, Romania. Please pray that we can find the right professionals to get her transported to Cluj safely and quickly. Please also pray for her surgery and healing.

It is custom in Romania to hold church services on Christmas Day and we did just that, including the children’s Christmas program. We are endlessly praising God for how He is using us through our bus kids! Every year, more and more parents come to these programs. In fact, ever since our Thanksgiving program, several mothers have been in regular attendance. Please be praying with us that more of our bus kids and their parents will soon accept Christ as their Savior and choose to live for the Lord.

Thank you so much for all your prayers for us, our friends, and for the lost here in Romania! You are a big part of God’s care for us and your faithful support over the years, especially this year, have been such an encouragement and blessing to us. You remind us that we are not alone in the work we do here, and each month you are proof of God’s provision for us!
