Merry Chirstmas & Happy New Year!!!
From:    The Cristinoiu Family

Dear Faithful Supporters

We trust this report reaches you blessed and refreshed from the holidays. Our Christmas and New Years were jam packed with festive activities. Isn’t it just the perfect time of year to remind folks why Jesus came to the world?

The Sunday before Christmas, the children held their “Christmas Crisis” puppet show, a script that Jordan wrote about a bus breaking down on a dark, back road the night before Christmas and a girl, who reminds everyone what Christmas is really all about. The church was full of parents, grandparents, and siblings! It was such a blessing to hear the many praises and complements for the work we put into the children’s ministries from their parents! We could tell that several people were moved by the Word of God in response to Ruben’s short message after the show. God is working!

Then on Christmas Day, the children held their regular Christmas program, to which even more parents and family members attended. Last year, only one parent came to the children’s program, Easter was a little better, but we could not have asked for more when it came to the crowd that was in our church on Christmas Day! Praise the Lord! Now, if we could only see them get saved! We are endlessly praising God for how He is using us through these children. Please continue to pray with us for their salvation and the salvation of their parents.

Praise the Lord for new name written down in Glory!

Ever since our fall revival we have had two new families and a few mothers with young children in regular attendance. One older couple had expressed their interests in getting saved but would put it off week after week, until finally last month the wife, Elanna, came forward to be saved after a Sunday message. Please pray for her husband, Costica, that he will soon follow in her new found faith of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A special thank you to those of you who have given towards the children’s Christmas gifts this year. We like to reward them for all the hard work they put into memorizing their lines and poems for the programs. They were so happy to take home their presents and goodie bags!

These extra funds enabled our little church to use the moneys they pulled together to give gifts to other less fortunate children at a nearby children’s psychiatric hospital. The Lord’s hand was in this too, as the hospital perpetually refuses many groups from visiting. Why they said yes to us and no to everyone else, we won’t know, but we are very thankful that they allowed us to come sing carols and give out gifts to all the children. They even allowed Ruben to give a short Christmas gospel message for the whole ward to hear! Our prayer is that they will continue to keep their doors open to us so that we may have more opportunities to witness to them.

We praise the Lord for you and all that He has allowed us to do in 2019! Thank you again for all of your faithful support and prayers for us! We cannot wait to see what God will have in store for us in 2020!
