June 2025 Update

Dear Faithful Supporters

Around the world, so much is shifting: nations in turmoil, values being challenged, and uncertainty pressing in from every direction. Yet in the midst of it all, we’re reminded that none of this takes God by surprise.

It’s easy to grow weary or long for escape, but now is not the time to retreat. This is the time to stand firm, anchored in God’s promises, steady in His peace, and faithful to His call. He has placed us in these days not by accident, but with purpose.

As you read this update, I pray that you are encouraged not to lose heart, but to lift your eyes. God is still at work, here and around the world, and we have the privilege of being a part of His glorious work among the nations.

Despite global uncertainty, we’ve seen God’s steady hand in the everyday joys of ministry, especially through our work with children.

June 1st marked Children’s Day in Romania, and we had the joy of celebrating with the children from our church and from Santa Maria. We hosted pizza parties in both locations, not just for fun, but to honor their growth and participation. It was a simple event, yet overflowing with laughter, energy, and a tangible sense of God’s delight in these young lives.

This season, we also introduced a special challenge for the children: those with perfect attendance, the most points, and the most memory verses earned a trip to the indoor jungle gym and lunch at McDonald's. It’s been amazing to see their excitement, not just for the rewards, but for showing up, engaging, and hiding God’s Word in their hearts.

We’ve noticed several mothers have been consistently attending Awana with their children in Santa Maria. In response, Jordan and Sister Raluca began meeting with them separately for times of prayer and devotionals tailored to them. Our prayer is that these women would soon come to faith and, perhaps one day, become the foundation of a new church plant.

Looking ahead, we’re preparing for our summer outreach. Once again, a team of college students from the U.S. will join us to help with our Vacation Bible Schools. Their energy and love for the kids made a lasting impact last year, and we’re thrilled to welcome them back.

Please join us in prayer for open hearts, for strength and creativity as we prepare, and for lasting fruit in the lives of these children and their families in these summer outreaches. Please also be in prayer for this group and their short missions trip, for safe travels, and that the Lord would work in their lives as well as the lives of the people they will be ministering to.

As we reflect on this season of ministry, we’re reminded of Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Thank you for standing with us in prayer and support! Your partnership enables us to press on with boldness and joy, even in challenging times. May you also be encouraged to live with that same courage, wherever God has placed you.
