Dear Faithful Supporters

A year ago we were updating you about our recent move here to the village of Sânmihiau. We knew that God had called us here, but who could have predicted all the great things He had in store for us? We praise the Lord for all that He has allowed us to accomplish in this 1st year at Grace of Life Baptist Church!

Just last Sunday we celebrated our church's Thanksgiving Day. Nationally, Romania does not have Thanksgiving. However, during this time of year, most Baptist churches have a Day of thanksgiving to the Lord. This year, Ruben’s family from Ploiesti was able to come celebrate with us. Ruben’s father preached and his brother’s family sang our specials. We ended the service with a baby dedication and then enjoyed a time of fellowship with cake.

The wall reads, "We thank you," and the children made the Thanksgiving tree. Each child wrote their names on the leaves and what they are thankful for.
Teaching the kids to not only be thankful in word, but also in deed. Many came last Saturday to help pick up trash along the street in the village.

We continue to stay busy with the children as we are already preparing for our Christmas programs. You read that right, I said, programs. Because our last puppet show with the children went so well, we are showing another one for Christmas. This will be in addition to the regular children’s Christmas concert. Please be praying with us that many of their family members will attend these programs with open ears and hearts towards the gospel.

Thank you for all your prayers for our fall Revival. Glory to God, there was great preaching, great singing, and a great turn out! Even now there are several newcomers that have been in attendance since the Revival. They have not made any decisions for the Lord as of yet, but we know that our God can do great things. Andriana for instance, told the previous pastors that she would NEVER come to church. Now that she has been coming faithfully for the past month, she claims that she will NEVER repent. Well, never say never. The Lord is working and we are asking you to pray with us that Andriana and the other newcomers will allow the Lord to finish this work in their hearts.

Of course, Satan couldn’t wait for the revival to end before he began his attacks. At the house, we have had one pipe leak after the next and they all seemed to surround our bedroom to the point that we’ve had to sleep in our living room off and on this month. Once one pipe was fixed and Jordan had finished the cleanup from that repair, another would burst, starting the process all over again. Thank God they are all repaired now and what water damage left is just aesthetic and can be fixed over time. As winter is slowly approaching on us, please pray that we will have no further pipe or water problems.

Even with the inconvenient attacks of the Devil, we have only been made more aware of God’s blessings and have become more thankful for His daily mercies. We also are so very grateful for you! Thank you again for your faithful prayers and support for us as we strive to bring Glory to His name.
