Dear Faithful Supporters

Is it February yet? This is an eagerly anticipated month for us as the 1st of February is Eva’s birthday. Isn’t it hard to believe that she is old enough to be two years old? We’d like to give a big thank you to all of you who sent Happy Birthday messages and gifts for her birthday this year. It was a very special day indeed and what made it even more special, was...

another bus kid accepting Christ as his Savior!

That day, the gospel was incorporated in the Bible lesson, like it is almost everyday when Alex stood up, “I haven’t done that yet. I want to be saved!!!” Praise the Lord for Alex (who is only 8 years old) and his honest sincerity. We praise God for how He is continually working in our children’s ministries.

Alex (far left) with his younger sister, older brother, and mother. Alex and his brother are currently the only ones in their family that are saved. Please pray for their younger sister, parents and grandparents to also accept Christ as their Savior!

Please be praying for us and the teen group that we are starting up this month. We have seen over and over again the strong hold that Satan has on the teens in this village. Please pray that they will see and understand how much we and God truly love them.

Our New Year was kicked off with a full week of prayer at the church. At the time, we wanted nothing but to stay home and rest for a while after the busy holidays. However, that week was such a refreshment and blessing to us as we met with our church members every night in prayer for our town, our country, and God’s people. The Lord is so Good! Our little village church has been FULL every Sunday this month! We are praying and talking of ways to expand the church if the assembly continues to grow.

We also had another baby decdication this month!

Of course, things just can’t be going great without Satan trying to rain on our parade. Yet again, there is some discord and jealousy from a particular family in the church. Pray that hearts would be softened and wrongs would be made right; and then please pray for us to have patience and wisdom as we try to be the peace makers in the midst of it.

For the next two months we are going to be extra busy because our Children’s Pastor, Piripi Scott, is away getting married and traveling on Furlough. We and the kids cannot wait for him to come back with his new bride, Cate, but in the meantime, please remember to pray for us, that we not get run down as we are trying to keep us with all the kids activities and lessons without his faithful presence and diligent work in the children’s ministries.

Thank you again for Eva’s birthday wishes, your generous support, and your faithful prayers for us as we live and work for the Lord at Grace of Life Baptist Church.
