Beyond funding, State Farm agents, employees, and retirees volunteer across the country on Habitat builds—helping construct lasting homes that strengthen communities.

State Farm is excited to continue its partnership with Habitat for Humanity of McLean County with a new opportunity to help build the State Farm-sponsored home in the Blo-No community! How to Stop Email Spam

Is your email in-box inundated with spam and marketing emails?  Most active email users receive an average 5-15 spam emails per day.  If your email has been compromised, you may receive dozens+  spam emails each day.  Spammers flood the in-box with emails to distract from noticing fraudulent activity. If you are seeing a spike in spam emails,  you can use Have I Been  Pwned to check to see if your email address is part of a  known leak. There are several steps to take to stop the spam storm.

What Are You Reading?

Charlotte McConaghy's Wild Dark Shore is the fictional story of the Salt family who are caretakers and the only remaining residents of the remote island of Shearwater, near Antarctica.  The island, which is also inhabited by penguins, seals and bird species, was once the home of a working lighthouse and research facility, both of which have been abandoned due to rising sea waters and severe storms caused by climate change. Shearwater is also home to the world's biggest seed bank, which the Salt family is prepping to relocate off the island before it is submerged.

Dominic Salt and his three children are preparing to leave the island as well when a woman name Rowan washes ashore during a storm. Rowan's purpose for being near Shearwater is a mystery that unfolds with many other twists, including terrible events that have happened on the island before she arrives.  This is a story of loss, loyalty, forgiveness and the consequences of choices made. It will both fill your heart and break it.  An outstanding read!
