September has nearly come and gone! We have much to share as our artists have been busier than ever! Enjoy a few highlights from recent illustration and photography projects and some good news in general. Feel free to drop us a note to say hello!
We're thrilled to welcome celebrity/fashion photographer Stephanie Pfriender Stylander to the TRAFFIC team. Stephanie's impressive roster of celebrated subjects combined with her distinctive, cinematic style truly captures the essence of our time. Adept at tapping into male sensuality and emotion, Stephanie uses a combination of gut instinct, provocation and her own form of feline connectivity (yes we know this isn't really a word) to project her signature vision.
Clients include International Vogues, GQ, Vanity Fair, Interview, Uomo, Conde Nast Traveler, and Grazia, as well as Saks, Redken, Kohl's, Dior and Rizzoli. She has captured iconic images of celebrities like Keith Richard, Kate Moss, Heath Ledger, Jennifer Lopez, Lenny Kravitz, Bjork, Aretha Franklin and many more of what we consider our culture's most intriguing characters.  To view Stephanie's fashion, men and celebrity portfolio's click here
for M.A.C. Cosmetics
Rebecca Moses joined forces with MAC Cosmetics for the eye catching artist collaboration! Sold exclusively at Nordstrom, the limited edition makeup pouches and brushes were so popular, they sold out nationwide in a matter of weeks! If you missed out, don't be alarmed! Stop by our print store to purchase your very own piece of Rebecca's artwork!
To celebrate the release of the Formento's highly anticipated 'Circumstance' book, the duo were honored at the Mayfair Gallery in London and the Pompidou in Paris! The launch of the book was accompanied by a short film on view at the Pompidou. To view film click here.
In 2008, while the United States was suffering from the subprime crisis BJ and Richeille Formento decided to embark on an expedition across the country aboard their Silver Airstream. On a shoestring budget, the couple visited 25 states and photographed 50 women over a 5 month period. While the stagings are sophisticated, inspired by fashion and the cinema of the 1950s and 1960s, the stories are real ones. Like Hitchock's heroines or ice queens, these women reveal their passionate temperaments and spirit when circumstances require them to. With the loss of their naivety, they become subversive and highly desirable.

Formento + Formento work extensively in the commercial realm for Akris, Aesthetica Magazine, Charles of London, Christian Roth Optical, Hammitt Los Angeles, Stephen Knoll, and Wolf Magazine.  They are featured regularily on and have been selected two years running to be included in PhotoVogues exhibition at 10 Corso Como Gallery in Milano.  To learn more and see more...

for WWD Beauty
Carine Abraham recently collaborated with WWD to illustrate the effects of Chinese urban expansion within the cosmetics sector. Carine's work is comprised of layers of digital images collaged together and enhanced by her signature graphics.
Carine is inspired by the world around her, as well as her own internal emotional and psychological world.  Her work is best known by her ground breaking campaigns for Cacharel fragrances and Sony Stores. To see more of Carine's work click here.
We have recently worked on a number of projects we are excited about.  Christian Roth Optical came to us for help to rebrand their company and create a state of the art website focusing on the US market. We teamed them up with one of our favorite creative teams EquancyNo11 and the outcome has been none other than exceptional. Formento + Formento jumped in and shot a photo campaign to match. Traffic's Social Media Marketing team is working closely with partners Christian Roth and Eric Domege to catapult their brand into the social media realm.

We have worked on many interesting projects with Paula throughout the years and her work continues to excite and inspire us! Her early work was primarily hand sewn and extraordinarily crafted and detailed. In more recent years she has focussed on pencil sketches, often collaging them with fabric.  Below is some of Paula's recent work, 'Casa Con Coleccionista'.

The work of our wonderful artists can now also be purchased for your office and home. Should you have any special requests please contact
