You are warmly invited to the Opening of Resilience: land/sea transition
An exhibition by Jo St Baker
"This exhibition presents new works in St Baker's uniquely beautiful freehand etched drawing on traditional surfboard Alaia and selected woods. She blurs the artistic boundaries of drawing, carving, painting and sculpture with plate as artwork installations."

Too close to call!
Sport provides the ultimate narrative – the primeval battle between two sides: the hope, the tragedy and the triumph. Too Close to Call! investigates and celebrates the nuances of arguably Australia’s favourite pastime, exploring themes of heroism, strength, masculinity/ femininity, comradery and rivalry.

Artists included are Chris Bennie, Yannick Blattner, Mike Chavez, Joe Furlonger, Jack Noel Kilgour, Richard Lever, Rew Hanks, Tom McAulay, Noel McKenna, Fiona McMonagle, Glenn Morgan, Paul Mumme, David Ray, Trica Reust, Mick Richards, John A Robinson, Pamela See, Jo St Baker and Gerry Wedd.

" I am thrilled to be part of this exhibition and that water sports... swimming and surfing have been acknowledged for their important play in Australian culture. "  Jo St Baker
