Fire Restrictions in Place in Many Areas

Be sure to check for any restrictions before planning your trip

It is a very hot and dry week on the Front Range and we want to remind you all to check for fire restrictions and burn warnings before you head out for any trips on public lands.

There are currently fire restrictions in place in Boulder, Gilpin, and Larimer counties. These restrictions include a ban on target shooting on public lands. View the graphic below created by the Boulder County Sheriff's Office and the map of all statewide restrictions which is maintained by the State of Colorado DHSEM. Remember that if a Red Flag Warning is issued then all open burning is prohibited.
