Celebrating STEM Education Week in Texas

May 4-10, 2015

Celebration of STEM Education Week in Texas (CSEWT) is a collaborative initiative created by STEM leaders and advocates in K-12 school districts, institutes of higher education, and businesses and industries in an effort to create a positive momentum in STEM education and ultimately address the talent shortage in STEM workforce.

This year we are celebrating the 3rd annual STEM Eduucation Week in Texas. Governor Abbott officially declared the week of May 4-10, 2015 as the "Celebration of STEM Education Week in Texas" just as former Governor Perry did for the first two years. Join this movement by showcasing your STEM events state-wide. Submit your event to CSEWT committee and join the STEM Education Day at George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston on Friday, May 8th.

Dr. Stephen Klineberg of Rice’s Kinder Institute will provide a morning keynote to discuss how demographic changes are impacting our community.
